Breast reconstruction is law

Women who have the breast totally or partially removed have the right to a breast reconstruction surgery, by either having its costs covered by SUS or by a private health insurance plan.

In Brazil, breast cancer reconstruction after mastectomy is law if patient has clinical conditions but reality is not what happens. A long line with women without their dignity reconstructed is what we see at public heath system.
