Bossa nova show shakes up Celebrating Life event

The event brought together patients, family and partners in celebration of life at Laço Rosa headquarters.

It happened today (08/25), one more edition of Celebrating Life. This time the theme was "What's The Song?"

The event was guided by games and an exclusive bossa nova concert by Bruna Mar and guitar-player Mateus Schneider. At the DJ table, DJ Neves Blue had all guests dancing.

In August, workshops were offered for voluntary contributors of MetrôRio, and the celebration and certification happened in said edition.

The participants learned hands-on basic notions of calligraphy and creative messages in the Lettering workshop, ministered by Pedro Henrique, and in the Ribbon workshop, learned the production techniques  for the pink ribbons, international symbol for breast cancer awareness, ministered by the volunteer and survivor Ieda Motta.

All which was produced is destined to the patient kits to those going through the treatment that apply for wigs through the Online Wig Bank.

The event was graced with the attendance of 50 participants and the help from partners: MetrôRio and Invepar Institution, Forno de Minas, Lecadô, Sorvete Brasil, Olenka Brownies, Biscoito O Globo, Granado and Essential Aromas.
